Chris Edivy-James | Founder, Reverie

Chris Edivy-James’ career in video production spans over a decade. His expertise is extensive, covering roles such as video editor, on-shoot producer, 2D animator, client partner, director, and camera operator.

With stints in Australia and New Zealand, his experience encompasses working with hundreds of diverse organisations on both sides of the Tasman.

Reverie began in 2020 after Chris and his young family  returned to the Wellington region from Melbourne amid the Covid 19 pandemic. Excited by what he had learnt working in busy production houses in Australia the 7 years prior, Chris was ready to have a go at starting up his own company.

Four years later Reverie is a full-service video production agency, that provides comprehensive and thoughtful production solutions to a broad range of clients in New Zealand.

Some of Reverie's recent clients include Victim Support New Zealand, The Ministry for Ethnic Communities, Te Arawhiti (Office for Māori Crown Relations), Bridget Williams Books, Montoux, Disney AUS/NZ, Inline Design and Build and The Medical Council of New Zealand.

Living out a dream of living in a rural setting but ‘near enough to the city to do the work’, Chris and his family live in the beautiful small Wairarapa town of Greytown, just north of Wellington.
